Ever since I got engaged I have become a little obsessed with anything wedding related-even though I got married just less than a year ago. So many brides want to have homemade wedding invitations but don’t know where to start or assume it’s going to be really expensive. Fear no more brides! Home made invitations can be quick, easy and beautiful!
For this invitation, I used a template on Canva.com and printed it onto Whisper White cardstock. The easiest way to make your invites look classy is to print onto decent cardstock. Use printer paper and your invites won’t look great! You get 4 invites from 1 piece of cardstock which works out roughly 7.5p per invite!!
Then I stamped onto the card to make it unique. I went for a summery combination of Calypso Coral and Pool Party with Night of Navy to act as a neutral. What do you think?
I also used an Aqua Painter to add some colour into the heart. Then layered the invite onto a base of Night of Navy. You could send the invite as a Save the Date or create extras to go with, such as a RSVP card, a extra details for things such as hotels and local attractions or a pick a song card!
