I originally started out making a box to fit a ‘fat’ card. (I.e. a card that is to big for a normal envelope) Somewhere a long a the way I found myself making little acetate zig-zags and sticking flowers on top. Anyway, enough babble, here are the instructions. Oh and if you an idea for a name for this, please tell me!!
Step 1: Start off with a two pieces of cardstock. One sized: 7″ x 5 1/4″ (Lid) and 6 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ (Base)
Step 2: Score at 1″ on all sides.
Step 3: Create tabs on all four corners.
Step 4: Apply glue on all four corners and adhere to create two boxes.
Step 5: Cute a piece of cardstock 6 3/4″ x 4 7/8″
Score at: 3″, 3 3/4″
Step 6: Cut pieces of acetate into different sizes. (Mine were an average of 1/4″ x 1 1/4″ However I didn’t measure)
Step 6: Stamp and punch flowers. Stick the zag to the flower and the zig to the base. (or vice versa!)
Step 7: Once you have the amount of flowers you would like, adhere the cardstock to the base of your box.
Step 8: Decorate the outside of the box.
Don’t forget I need a name for this one!!
