I am a member of the Facebook group Card Making Tips. Yesterday a picture was posted by Becky Fitchie asking for instructions so of course I jumper right on it! The Tag Topper Box is really cute and would make a really lovely gift. This box is my weekly challenge on Crafting with Cayleigh so I hope to see your creations on there this week!
Step 1: Cut a piece of card to 8 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Step 2: Score 1 3/4″, 2 1/2″, 5 3/4″, 6 1/2″ on the long side
Step 3: Score 1″, 1 3/4″, 3 3/4″, 4 1/2″
Step 4: Cut off the 3 corner boxes as in the picture.
Step 5: Fold all score lines. (Tip: A bone folder will give a much crisper fold)
Step 6: Punch each end out with the tag topper punch. (If you do not have a punch, thread the card through a die so only one side gets cut. (See picture)
Step 7: Apply glue on all 4 small tabs
Step 8: Adhere together and decorate!
As far as I can tell, the person who originally created this box was Nikki Spencer. Her blog is here.
