I don’t know about you but I am not a big fan of giving money or vouchers for presents. (Which is hypocritical of me as I love getting gift cards!) I always think they look like you couldn’t be bothered. BUT I have a solution: pop the gift card/money in a beautiful homemade card!
Here is one I made using the Stampin Up! Thinlet Circle Card Die. (Which is awesome!) The picture on the rights shows the wallet for the cash/card.
This post actually has two tutorials; one for using the Die and one for without.
With the Die
Step 1: Cut card to 5.5 inches width ways and 6 inches length ways.
Step 2: Put card under the die and pull one side through, like such:
Front side of die Back side of die
Step 3: Put through the Big Shot.
Step 4: Score at 5 7/8 inches and 1o inches. Use the bone folder to crease each score line.
Step 5: Apply glue onto the ends of each of the small section and fold over to create a wallet.
Step 6: Decorate!
Without the Die
Step 1: Start with a piece of card stock 5.5 inches and 10 inches long. Score at 4 and 8 inches.
Step 2: Apply glue onto the ends of each of the small section and fold over to create a wallet.
Step 3: Decorate!
If you make a wallet card, I would love to see it! If there is a tutorial you want, leave a comment!
