Hi everyone! Welcome to the Online Card Making Party. I love crafting with people, but have so many crafting friends who are around the world and it could be a bit expensive meeting up for an afternoon of card making! This is my way of bringing us all together! I hope you enjoy the next three hours and have a go at the challenges!
The first one is: Making your own DSP
I love designer series paper! But sometimes feel it’s too pretty to use on a card. So I make my own! I normally choose a stamp set that has different size stamps. I also use at least three co-coordinating colours. Here is a tutorial on how I do it:
Step 1: Pick your stamp sets and colours. I am using the SAB set Petal Parade, and Smoky Slate, Island Indigo and Wisteria Wonder.
Step 2: Take a piece of card (I used Whisper White)
Step 3: Randomly stamp until the card is covered.
Step 4: Cut your DSP to the size required for the card.
Step 5: Make your card!
It really is that simple. So GO! You have until 8 to post your creations on the Facebook group: Crafting with Cayleigh (Click on the link if you are not already a member)
Note: Apologies about the pictures, for some reason my camera wasn’t working too well!
