Flip cards are a real crowd pleaser! You can buy a die to cut a flip card but I thought I would show you how to make one.. I LOVE the wreath stamp and wanted to make it into a wreath card. What do you think?
Step 1: Take a piece of cardstock 6 ¾” x 5”
Step 2: Score at 2 ½” and 3 ½” BUT ONLY 1” deep at the top & bottom. (See picture)
Step 3: Lay the wreath die so it is in the middle of the first score line. (I placed the die towards the bottom of the card but it is a case of preference) *Make a pencil mark to show which direction the wreath was*
Step 4: Before running through the big shot, make sure the plates only cover up to the first score line. (See picture)
Step 5: Run the card through the big shot but only covering up to the second score line. (The middle section will NOT be cut) *Washi tape can be used to secure the die*
Step 6: Fold the score line, extending it up to the wreath. *use a bone folder for a tight crease*
Step 7: Decorate the card (I used the woodgrain background stamp, I stamped it in gold onto scrap paper first then onto my card)
