Do you ever find yourself looking for a place to store your cards? A place where you can keep them organised and tidy? Well this is my solution! A cute storage folder for your cards. You can create a file for months or for categories! Hope you like the tutorial, don’t forget to share your version!
Step 1: Take a piece of 12” x 12” card and score at 5” and 7”.
Step 2: Turn 90 degrees and score at 5”.
Step 3: With the 5” score line to your right, create a 1” tab on either side of the score line. (Removing 4” x 5” either side)
Step 4: On either side of the ‘big’ tabs, mark a score point at 3”. (Mark with smaller tab to your left)
Step 5: Line the 3” mark up with the top score line and trim off. (See picture)
Step 6: Using the cut off card from earlier, cut a piece to 3” x 4” and score at 1” on both sides. (Landscape)
Step 7: Apply glue to the tabs and adhere to the base to create a box shape.
Step 8: Apply glue to the tabs of the 3” x 4” cardstock and adhere to create the file folder.
Step 9: Repeat 2 more times to create three folders.
Step 10: Create a box to hold the file folders.
Step 11: Cut a piece of cardstock to 8 ¼” x 7 ¼”
Step 12: Score at 1” on all sides.
Step 13: Create tabs out of the four corners.
Step 14: Apply glue on the four tabs and adhere together to create a box. Decorate!
